Character appearance meme!
Little 100 x 100 pixel boxes don’t cover your character entirely, not to mention a bunch of our people have had some time away from home before ending up in Rookshire. We’ve all been asking about Discord what our people look like and bemoaning the need for a meme—here’s one I wrote up! Be descriptive…I don’t know about everyone else, but this is my jam. Feel free to add any details you feel like are missing. I just made this up!

What color eyes does your character have? Originally, he had bright green eyes with just a hint of blue in them. Now, his eyes are clouded, covered with a white/silver-blue film. His right eye is always open, but the left is usually closed due to all the scarring. He can open his left eye, though, and will do so when hit with unusually strong emotion.
Bonus information: Despite the damage done to his eyes, the tear ducts in both still work!
Look, I never said it was happy information. Just that it was bonus information.About how old does your character look? Early to late twenties. (He is currently 24 thanks to two birthdays on Enso.) This is a large gap, but it depends a lot on his hair style (bangs down makes him look much younger) and how serious/tense he is. He had to make people much older than him listen to him in council meetings and such, so he learned young how to make himself appear older with mere expression and poise.
How does your character carry themselves? Do they stand tall, or kind of hunch down? As mentioned above, Ignis generally carries himself tall and with a poise beyond his years unless he is extremely comfortable with someone. At that point, he will relax to a posture a bit more common for a man in his mid-twenties. He can also go from relaxed to battle ready at the drop of a hat, so it is really best not to surprise him when at all possible.
Clean-shaven or a beard? Feel free to cover the entirety of the month as powers may impact shaving ability! Clean shaven (and more than just his face coughs). It doesn't matter what time of the month it is. He may have to let other things go, but remaining clean-shaven is a must.
How does your character usually dress? How are they dressed now in Rookshire? Dress suits or his Crownsguard uniform were musts for Ignis back home, but Ignis was pulled here while he was dressed in the clothes he was using as pajamas on Enso, so he's currently wearing a gray sleeveless tank top with a rainbow stripe across the top and dark track/sleep pants. He does have a long sleeve button up shirt, slacks and shoes as an alternate outfit, but they were already worn from use on Enso, so he saves those for when he is going out exploring/to a city so they stay as nice as they can. After all, who knows when they will get more REAL clothes?
What, if any, jewelry/”adornments” does your character wear? He always has his necklace with the skull pendent on it on. If powers are working, he may also be wearing a pair of sunglasses with lightly glowing sigils on the bows as they allow him to see. Finally, he is always wearing a wide metal bracelet with a large stone in the middle of it. When powers are working, the bracelet allows him to scan writing into braille and also can alert him to emergency beacons that go off near to him.
What kind of shoes does your character have? Worn black dress shoes, though he only wears them when going outside.
What kind of mobility or assistive devices (if any) does your character use? Ignis does have a carved walking stick that Ardyn made for him, but he doesn't use it unless he is going into an area he's not familiar with. He also has the sunglasses mentioned above. Finally, Rory, his firebird, has been trained to act as a seeing-eye bird to help guide him in unfamiliar areas. Leo, Gladio's tigerlily, also has been trained to guide him as well as help with any PTSD/trigger episodes much like he does for Gladio.
What (if any) scars does your character have? Ooh boy, here we go. The most obvious are the ones on his face from wearing the Ring--the patch over his left eye and the smaller ones on his lip, nose, and right eyebrow. He also has a very old, thin scar down the back of his left arm, likely from a training accident. Those are the canon ones. Head canon/ones from his previous game include a jagged scar around the base of his middle finger from wearing the Ring, and a lot of very thin, rather random wavy lines down the side of his neck, over his left side and down his left arm from a nasty run in with an Oolick. (Acid monsters are not good things to come into contact with!) Painfully enough, these scars look almost like they could be scars from wearing the Ring had more of them survived.
What (if any) tattoos does your character have? Only a few people know it, but he has a dagger though a crown about an inch diagonally down from his left hip. It was gotten in celebration of completing his Crownsguard training.
Does your character have a birthmark? He has several moles on his face, including one that has been covered by the scarring around his eye. He also has several little marks that may be acne scars or just smaller birthmarks on his face. I tend to go with the acne scar theory but YMMV.
How tall is your character? 6 foot
Body habitus—is your character heavy, thin, somewhere in between? In game, Ignis' build is very much a gymnast or acrobat build. His fighting style is very acrobatic with spins and flips meant to get him into attack or help someone and then back out again before he can be attacked. He is lean, but has a very strong core. He tried to keep this up as much as possible while on Enso, but lack of proper food has caused him to slim down. This is probably most noticeable in his face thanks to those high cheekbones.
Anything else you have in your head when you picture your character? One main note to keep in mind is that he has made the conscious choice to remain connected to Ardyn's Armiger instead of defaulting back to Noctis' so that means any time he summons something from it (be it a stored item or a weapon) or uses one of his magical abilities (most notably Regroup) there will be a magenta glow to it instead of a blue one.
He also always has one of his daggers near at hand. If you can't see it, its in the Armiger. If the Armiger is off, it's still easily accessible ESPECIALLY if you can't see it.

Also, on pain of Gladio, I am told I must mention somewhere that Ignis almost always has a hickey of some kind. Usually along his collarbone or neck.
